Customer and sales system provides the following functions:
- Creates a database for customers, their data, balances andr invoices
- Generate an easy documentary cycle for sales, as it displays prices and sales invoices
- Provide authority for managers to monitor operations and customers' orders and salesmen’s achievements
- Process finance and accounting for sales carried over to public accounts and update inventory
- Generate complete reports on sales, customers and salesmen’s performance.
The system is built on a client / server
basis or so-called Multi-tier Architecture, which means there is an Application Server software called Gulf Server; and a client program for each type of client application. A technique known as DataSnap has been adopted to connect the elements of the system with each other.
All system’s programs work on one or more PCs connected to a single local network or via the Web.
The DF Server software is downloaded on the server even if it is a personal computer, while client applications are downloaded on separate devices from the server and can also be downloaded to the server according to the client's environment.
